Knight Essay Contest

The Pennsylvania State Society and the Philadelphia Continental Chapter in the Philadelphia area participate in the Knight Essay Contest.
The Knight Essay Contest is open to students attending public, parochial, or private high schools (including accredited home schools) who are in the 9th through 12th grade. The contest requires an original essay written in English, with a minimum of 800 words and a maximum of 1,200 words (excluding title page and bibliography). The topic of the essay must be an event, person, philosophy, or ideal associated with the American Revolution, the Declaration of Independence, or the framing of the United States Constitution.
